Affirmation for the Gulf

As a community of consciousness, we are called to respond to the events currently taking place in the Gulf of Mexico. What we see assaults our senses and breaks our hearts. The sacrifices are uncountable and the pain is almost unbearable. But bear it we must. As a faith community, we must keep our thoughts clear and positive and turned toward the good of the “Great Turning” that is taking place. Daily we must do our spiritual practices and trust that the Spirit of Life and Love is moving through all of this. Daily we must do our prayer work and know that there is an awakening and healing of all life on our beautiful blue planet.
 Daily we must believe and affirm together:

The Divine Action of Spirit is unfolding now. All that needs to be known is known in ending the spilling of oil and in the healing of all life in the waters and on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico.
