• Intention Setting Ceremony: Sunday, January 4th, join us in setting the intention to bring about a new and abundant life experience for 2009.

• Visioning: Sunday, January 4 and 12, after our Gathering of Awakening. If you consider Awakening Ways your spiritual home, join us for our continuing Visioning Process for its future.

• Jan Grigsby and Nina Ryne:  Join us Sundays, January 11 and 25, for the return of these special guest performers at our Sunday Gathering of Awakening.

• Ask and It Is Given Circle: Join us, Monday January 12, 6:30 - 7:30 PM  at the home of Jan and Pat Lynch, 938 Patria Circle, Atascadero for the ongoing Ask and It is Given  discussion group.

• Oneness Blessing Meditation: Wednesday, January 21, 6:30 - 7:30 PM at the Lavender Rose. Join Rev. Terry for meditation followed by an individual Oneness Blessing

• Foundations of Practical Spirituality (PS101): Is this the year “you let go and let God”? This 13 week course is the place to begin. This is a life transforming class in which students are introduced to the Ten Core Concepts of Science of Mind and are taught how to apply these concepts to their lives. The basic philosophy of Religious Science and the New Thought movement is taught through class discussion, sharing and experiential processes to help participants understand and integrate the concepts and ideas of metaphysics. Join Rev. Frank and Rev. Terry for this 13 week class beginning January 13. It will be meeting 12 Tuesday nights from 6:30 to 9:00 PM and one Saturday Treatment and Meditation workshop.

  Prerequisites: None
  Cost: $130 or 4 payments of $32.50 plus $10 materials fee and the cost of textbooks
  The Science of Mind  and Living the Science of Mind by Ernest Holmes

  Dates:  Tuesdays, beginning January 13 and one Saturday workshop

  There are no pre-requisites for this class.

  This is the foundational class for Practical Spirituality.
  It is an Emerson Institute approved class and is a required pre-requisite for all other classes in Practical Spirituality.
